What is WPCP?
A state program — not a loan, not aid you repay.
The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP) is a state program that lets eligible families attend a participating private school — like St. Mary — with tuition covered by the state. There's nothing to pay back. If you qualify, your child's tuition is simply taken care of.
Do we qualify?
Two simple questions.
Where you live
You must live in Wisconsin, outside the Milwaukee and Racine districts (which have their own programs). Mayville and the surrounding area qualify.
Household income
Eligibility is based on family size and income. The exact limits are set by the state and change each year — check the current chart from the Wisconsin DPI.

How to apply
When the window is open, it's straightforward.
Applications open monthly from February through September — each window runs roughly the 1st through the 20th of the month. Apply in the first open window you can; earlier is better.
